For your eyes only.

Record, transcribe and search on your own machine.

Your meetings, notes and plans are some of the most sensitive things you have. They say what you really think of a client and where a negotiation actually stands.

Do as much of the work as you can on your own machine, from recording to search. Keep the files somewhere you control, and if you sync them between devices, use your own account.

When a harder question needs a bigger model, use your own and send the text straight to it, with no middleman keeping a copy. Share notes when you decide to, one at a time.

Be careful with anything that needs your whole archive on someone else’s server before it works. Once it’s uploaded you can’t take it back. Private should be the default, and any exception should be your call.
